What Happens At A Networking Session
Networking just means meeting people and learning from them. You don't need a résumé or a plan, only your questions. Each two-hour session goes like this:
Meet new People
1
Grab a snack and say hi! Kick off the session by mingling with fellow volunteers, youth advisors and staff to build connections before the structured activities begin

Play Games
2
Quick group games break the ice and help everyone get comfortable. Expect a few low-pressure activities that foster the teamwork you will rely on during your shifts

Learn About Jobs, Volunteering, and More!
3
See how volunteering with YRES works. We will cover available roles, walk through the onboarding steps, and outline shift expectations so you are fully prepared to jump in

Connect with York Region Community
4
