Our Impact
YRES successfully engaged children and parents through interactive LEGO activities that encouraged creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Students were especially enthusiastic about LEGO robotics, while parents showed interest in learning more about YRES programs and summer camps. Through conversations, demonstrations, and engaging STEAM activities, the team strengthened its connection with the local school community and created a positive learning experience.
E. J. Sand Public School
On June 4, 2026, YRES participated in the E. J. Sand Public School Spring Fair in Thornhill. Team members Cassie, Tharuk, Jason, and Adeline hosted an interactive booth where children explored LEGO art, science, and robotics through hands-on activities. Students showed strong enthusiasm for the activities, with LEGO robotics becoming a particularly exciting part of the event. Team members also entertained children at the LEGO Science station while connecting with parents and introducing YRES programs and upcoming summer camp opportunities. The welcoming atmosphere and strong community participation helped create a fun and educational experience for students and families.
